Postopek izdelave navtičnega koledarja

Za izdelavo navtičnega koledarja se je potrebno seznaniti s celotnim postopkom, od začetka do konca, ki ga ta proces zajema, da dobimo končni produkt. Za začetek je v prvem delu diplomske naloge najprej predstavljena zgodovina koledarja, njegov opis ter njegova struktura. Ker gre za navtični koledar, je predstavljeno tudi, kaj pravzaprav je navtični dnevnik. Sledi primerjava med papirnatimi in elektronskimi koledarji na splošno ter tudi v primeru, ko se znajdemo na morju. Omenjena je tudi prihodnost planerjev. V drugem delu diplome pa si po vrsti sledijo koraki, ki so ključni za izdelavo navtičnega koledarja. Opisan je proces iskanja ideje, izbire barv, izbire tipografije, priprave za tisk, opisan je tudi proces izbire pravega papirja ter vrste, ki so za navtični koledar primerne. Za tem sledi še opis postopka vezave ter plastifikacije prvih strani. Nato so predstavljeni vsi programi, s pomočjo katerih je bil produkt realiziran, ter podroben opis končnega produkta – navtičnega koledarja. Na koncu sledi še analiza oziroma pogovor z naročnikom. V zaključku diplome tako izvemo, kako kakovostno je navtični koledar narejen ter kakšne izboljšave so še potrebne.

• Title: The production of nautical calendar

Abstract

For the production of nautical calendar it is crucial to be acquainted with the whole process that occurs in the making. Firstly, in the beginning of the thesis we encounter the history of calendar, its definition and structure. Also there are a few words written about what nautical journal is. Secondly, comparison of electronic and paper planners in general as well as at the sea follows. Future of planners is also mentioned. The second part of the thesis consists of all the steps that are necessary to make a nautical calendar. It starts of with descriptions of idea searching, color choosing, typography, prepress and also the right choice of paper that is going to be used. Binding and plastification of first pages are also discussed. Every program used to complete the project is described as well as the design and look of whole nautical calendar. Lastly, a conversation with my client shows what else could be done or is done well.
