Oblikovanje tematskega koledarja za Goriška Brda

Za oblikovanje in izdelavo tematskega koledarja za Goriška brda se je bilo treba seznaniti s celotnim postopkom tega procesa. Najprej je bila narejena raziskava zgodovine koledarja, njegovih vrst in njihove strukture. Narejena je bila tudi manjša analiza dveh tematskih koledarjev. Nato je sledila poglobitev v samo pokrajino Goriška brda, njeno lego, podnebje, vrsto tal in v turizem. Večja pozornost je bila posvečena kmetijstvu, natančneje sadjarstvu. Posebno poglavje je pripadalo češnji kot glavnemu briškemu sadežu, ki je bil tudi rdeča nit koledarja. V drugem delu diplomskega dela je bil predstavljen potek dela. Najprej je bilo opisano iskanje ideje, ki je potekalo s pomočjo raziskave in izdelave ankete, namenjene domačinom. V anketi se je povpraševalo po mnenju o domačem okolišu. Zatem je bila predstavljena ideja koledarja, za njo pa proces fotografiranja ter obdelave fotografije v programu Adobe Photoshop. Nato je bilo prikazano oblikovanje vsebine koledarja v programu Adobe Illustrator. Sledil je opis izbire in uporabe barv, tipografije ter določanje hierarhije besedila. Nato je bil predstavljen postopek urejanja besedila. Za konec je bil opisan še postopek izdelave koledarja. Tu se je posvetilo pozornost tiskovnemu materialu, za katerega je bil izbran trši papir. Predstavljeni sta bili tudi dodelava in končni izdelek. Sledila je predstavitev uporabljene programske opreme, na koncu pa še predstavitev izdelka.

• Title: Designing of thematic calendar of Goriška Brda

Abstract

For the creation and design of this thematic calendar for Goriška brda, it is necessary to analyze all of the individual steps of the creation process from beginning to end. The first step was to research the history of the calendar, its different varieties and their respective structures. This also included an analysis of two thematic calendars. What followed was an in-depth look into the Goriška brda region itself; its geographic location, climate, type of soil, agriculture and tourism. An emphasis was put on agriculture, more specifically the fruit grown in the region. A special chapter was dedicated to the cherry, the most well-known and symbolic of the Brda fruits, which also served as a “lynchpin” to tie the whole calendar together. In the second part of the thesis the workflow itself is presented, starting with the search for the idea for the project and asking for a variety of thoughts and opinions at home. After that the idea of the calendar was presented, followed by an analysis of the photography process and the retouching of the photographs in Adobe Photoshop. Then it was shown how the calendar contents were made in Adobe Illustrator. What follows is a description of the choices made in regards to the colour typography, and determining the text hierarchy. Afterwards the editing process is presented and how the physical copies were created. This part focuses on the materials used in the pressing. Finally the all of the software used in the project is described And lastly we have the presentation of the final product.
