Testiranje uporabniške izkušnje pri uporabi tablice MESI mTABLET

Namen diplomskega dela je bil raziskati različne metode testiranja uporabniške izkušnje. To znanje je bilo uporabljeno pri nadaljnjih testiranjih uporabniške izkušnje s produktov slovenskega podjetja MESI, d. o. o. V teoretičnem delu sta definirana izraza uporabniška izkušnja in uporabnost. V nadaljevanju so predstavljene smernice za uspešno načrtovanje in izvedbo testiranj uporabniške izkušnje. Predstavljenih je tudi več različnih načinov testiranja te izkušnje. Za boljšo predstavo so opisani tudi rezultati in primeri že izvedenih med seboj zelo različnih testiranj uporabniške izkušnje. V eksperimentalnem delu je podrobno opisano testiranje uporabniške izkušnje produktov podjetja MESI, d. o. o. Izvedeni sta bili dve različni testiranji v kontroliranih pogojih. Pri vsakem testiranju so bili definirani testni uporabniki, testno okolje, postopek testiranja in različni scenariji. Prvi test se je osredotočal na uporabniški vmesnik in je bil kratkotrajen. Drugi test je bil dolgotrajen in je potekal pri realnih končnih uporabnikih v njihovih prostorih. Osredotočal se je na celostno uporabniško izkušnjo ob simulaciji čim bolj realnih okoliščin. V rezultatih so predstavljene analize vsakega testiranja, ki temeljijo na opazovanju, izvedenih intervjujih in izpolnjenih merilnih listih. Podani so tudi predlogi za popravke uporabniških vmesnikov oz. produktov. Na koncu je predstavljena analiza opravljenih testiranj uporabniške izkušnje, del katere so tudi predlogi za izvedbo naslednjih testiranj.

• Title: User experience testing when using MESI mTABLET

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis was to research user experience testing methods and apply them to any further user experience testing regarding products MESI mTABLET and mRECORDS of MESI Ltd. Firstly, the theoretical part defines terms such as user experience and usability. Secondly, it presents guidelines for planning and conducting UX tests and different UX testing methods. To get a better understanding of how UX tests are conducted in real life, it also includes some examples of studies in which UX testing was performed. Further on, the UX testing methods of MESI products are presented in detail. Different lab tests with defined scenarios, test environments and test users were conducted. The first test was short term and was focused on user interface. The second test was long-term and performed in real life medical practices with end users and was focused as much on user interface as on usability and overall user experience. In results, analysis of each test is presented. The analysis was based on observations, interviews and filled out measurement questionnaires. Results chapter also includes ideas for improving current user interfaces and products. Finally, an evaluation of conducted UX testing is made and suggestions for improving next UX testing are presented.
