The purpose of this thesis is to showcase climbing as natural form of movement, showcase climbing as activity of movement which positively influences child's development and to showcase a program of climbing suitable for pre-school children. We will also define climbing equipment suitable for program of climbing for pre-school children.
In this thesis we represent climbing as natural form of movement, child's development and influence of climbing on child's body and motor skills. We have also briefly described sport climbing.
From natural forms of movement, such as crawling, walking, running and jumping, climbing is the most neglected form of movement, because you have to overcome your own weight.
Because today prevails sitting way of life, climbing is more important than ever, because it strenthens arm muscles and body, in consequence coherent body posture. It also improves mobility, with careful stepping and holding balance becomes better, we also see improvement in coordaniton of movement.
In thesis we present all sorts of climbing equipment, with wich we can spice up any exercise of children. We also included climbing program for introductory, main and end part of lesson. We concluded my thesis with some climbing games, with which we can spice up any exercise.
