Abstract
Diplomsko delo obravnava konfiguracijo in uporabo tako imenovanih pametnih MEMS zaznaval na področju merjenja nihanj. V diplomskem delu je predstavljen postopek nadgradnje MEMS pospeškomera ADXL, s pomočjo Adafruit Feather HUZAHH ESP8266 mikrokrmilnika. Prav tako je opisan celoten postopek pisanja programske kode, ki omogoča komunikacijo pospeškomera z uporabnikom. V nadaljevanju diplomske naloge je predstavljen uporabniški vmesnik, ki omogoča nastavitev časovnega okna zajemanja in izris merjenih veličin.

Title:Smart accelerometer
Abstract:
The diploma discusses a smart MEMS acceleration sensor for monitoring of dynamic processes. Initially, upgrading the MEMS sensor with ESP8266 microcontroller and the description of software code that enables the communication between the sensor and the user, is presented. Furthermore, a user interface is developed for interacting with the smart accelerometer and for data visualisation.
