Abstract
V diplomskem delu je predstavljena toplotna obdelava kaljenja. Opisana so kalilna sredstva, vrste kaljenja, ter različne kalilne peči. Največji poudarek pa je na določanju kaljivosti jekla C45. Na podlagi rezultatov določenih s pomočjo Jominyevega in Grossmannovega preizkusa lahko sklepamo, da kaljivost jekla C45 ni najboljša, velik vpliv ima tudi masa vzorca. V diplomskem delu so primerjani tudi rezultati kaljenja ter popuščanja vzorcev pri različnih temperaturah. Na koncu je še pregled mikrostruktur dobljenih pri kaljenju in popuščanju.

Title:The determination of hardening of steel C45
Abstract:
The thesis presents the heat treatment of hardening. It describes the hardening agents, types of hardening and different hardening furnaces. The main emphasis is on the determination of hardening of steel C45. Based on the results defined with the help of Jominy and Grossmans tests, we can assume that the hardening of steel C45 is not the best, which is also a result of the influence of the mass of the sample. Further on, a comparisson between the results of hardening and relaxation of samples at different temperatures is made. At the end, there is a review of the microstuctures obtained at the hardening and tempering.
