Abstract
Breskev je ena izmed pomembnih sadnih vrst, ki jo uvršamo v rod Prunus. Pri nas je po razširjenosti v pridelavi na tretjem mestu. Breskev je zanimiva tudi zaradi svoje barve in okusa. Obarvanost breskev je posledica barvil v kožici plodov. Breskev mora biti lepo obarvana in dobre kakovosti, da je zanimiva za potrošnika. Tržno zanimivo barvo lahko dosežemo s tehnološkimi ukrepi, kot so gnojenje, namakanje, rez, gojitvena oblika. Za doseganje dobrih in lepo obarvanih plodov v intenzivnih nasadih je pomembno pravilno gnojenje ali prehrana rastlin. Z namakanjem vplivamo na hitrejšo in intenzivnejšo vegetativno rast, prav tako pa lahko vplivamo na ustrezno količino bioaktivnih snovi v plodovih breskve. Sušni stres na breskvah povzroči slabšo tvorbo antocianov. Z ustrezno rezjo in z izbiro optimalne gojitvene oblike vplivamo na boljšo osvetlitev in s tem na boljšo obarvanost plodov. Pri breskvah je potrebno zatirati škodljivce in preprečevati nastanek bolezni, saj v nasprotnem primeru to vpliva na zmanjšanje pridelka in manjšo kakovost plodov breskev.

Title:The effect of technological measures on growth and quality of peach (prunus persica (l.) Batsch) fruits
Abstract:
Peach is one of the most important fruit species grown in Slovenia in is on the third place according to fruit production. Peach is also interesting because of its colour and flavour. Peach should have typical colour and of good quality, that is interesting to the consumer. Commercially interesting fruit colour of peaches can be achieved by several different technological measures such as fertilisation, irrigation, pruning and training. For achieving colour and fruit quality in intensive plantations adequate fertilisation of plants is necessary. Irrigation has positive effect on faster and more intensive vegetative growth, but it can also regulate the optimal amount of bioactive compounds in peach fruit. Drought stress has negative effect on formation of anthocyanins in peach fruit. In order to achieve better light exposure and colouration pruning and optimal training system are needed. In the case of peaches it is necessary to suppress pests and prevent disease, because otherwise it has negative influence on yield and on lower peaches quality.
