Abstract
V diplomskem delu je predstavljeno načrtovanje in izgradnja stroja za preverjanje ustreznosti embalažnih zapiral (pokrovčkov). V prvem in drugem poglavju je razložena vloga in pomen stroja v avtomatizirani proizvodni liniji. Podrobneje je opisana sestava stroja ter njegov delovni proces. Stroj je zasnovan za delo v avtomatizirani liniji, njegovo krmilje pa temelji na Siemensovem programirljivem logičnem krmilniku Simatic S7-1214. Od tretjega do vključno petega poglavja je opisana idejna zasnova, izdelava programa, priprava uporabniškega vmesnika za upravljanje s strojem in obveščanje uporabnika o procesih in stanju stroja. V šestem in sedmem poglavju je razložen proces načrtovanja ter za to potrebna programska orodja. Opisan je standardni postopek izdelave izvenserijskih naprav, testiranje in odpravljanje tehničnih in programskih napak.

Title:Control of a machine for quality assurance of packaging closures
Abstract:
This thesis presents the design and the construction of the machine for quality assurance of packaging closure. The first and second chapter cover the role and importance of the machine in an automated production line. Next, a detailed description of a machine and production process is given. The machine is designed to operate in an automated line with a Siemens programmable logic controller S7-1214. Chapters three to five explain a basic concept, control program and user interface that serves to manipulate with the machine and informs the user about the machine status. In chapter six and seven, the whole design process and required software tools are described. A standard procedure when designing unique devices, testing and troubleshooting of technical and programming errors are highlighted at the end.
