Abstract
Vključena je domača in tuja literatura prosto dostopna v celotnem besedilu in smo jo identificirali v naslednjih podatkovnih bazah: CINAHL with full text, Medline, Digitalna knjižnica Slovenije (Zdravniški vestnik), Medscape Nursing.

Title:Early detection of urological complications following laparoscopic hysterectomy and the role of nurse : literature review
Abstract:
Introduction: Uroginecologic injury during laparoscopic hysterectomy is a serious problem. Identification of these lesions helps nurses and other health professional to prevent further complications to the urinary tract. Purpose: Display the frequency of injuries to the urinary tract by laparoscopic hysterectomy and what should be wary of the nurse in this type of operation. Methods: The diploma work is based on literature review. It includes domestic and foreign literature freely accessible throughout and we have identified the following databases: CINAHL with Full Text, Medline, Digital Library of Slovenia (Zdravniški vestnik), Medscape Nursing. To search the literature we used the key words: hysterectomy, bladder damage, complications, urinary tract, incontinence care. We analyzed 8 articles from Medline, 7 from CINAHL, 2 from the Zdravniški vestnik and 4 articles from Medscape Nursing. Discussion and conclusion: Laparoscopic hysterectomy offers many advantages but remains convinved that this procedure is associated with a significantly higher incidence of injuries to the urinary tract. Injuries to the bladder and urinary tract are very small even if there is no damage to the urinary tract it is nevertheless essential of his patients to provide optimal medical care, early recognition of the problem, knowledge and treatment. After carrying out laparoscopic hysterectomy may occur early and late complications on the urinary tract, which can later affect the quality of life of women. The tasks of nurses after performing laparoscopic hysterectomy is the observation of patients, prevention and detection of urological complications and participate in their dicussion.
