Abstract
Namen diplomske naloge je bil izdelava modela Francisove turbine in nazorni prikaz načina njenega delovanja. Diplomsko delo obravnava teoretični in praktični vidik izračuna in izdelave modela Francisove turbine. Osnovna elementa modela sta gonilnik in spiralno ohišje, natisnjena s 3D-tiskalnikom. Delovanje modela smo preizkusili z vodno črpalko. Izračunali smo podtlak v sesalni cevi in njen izkoristek.

Title:
DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE MODEL OF FRANCIS TURBINE
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to thoroughly examine the operation of the Francis turbine by creating a turbine model. The thesis presents the theoretical and practical aspect of the calculations and the making of the Francis turbine. There are two crucial parts of the model: a runner and a spiral casing; both have been produced with a 3D printer. The model was tested with a water pump. The pressure in the draft tube and the efficiency of the draft tube have been calculated.
