Abstract
V diplomski nalogi opisujem prometno problematiko v Občini Vrhnika. Osredotočim se na 5 križišč na izbranem odseku regionalne ceste. Križišča na kratko opišem in predstavim glavne pomanjkljivosti. V nadaljevanju si izberem eno križišče, katero bolj natančno obdelam po prometnem, prometno varnostnem in prostorskem kriteriju. Analiziram rezultate štetja prometa in preverim kriterij prometne obremenitve. S pomočjo spletne aplikacije zberem podatke o prometnih nesrečah na območju križišča in analiziram njihove vzroke. S programom AutoCAD grafično preverim tudi preglednost pri uvozu v križišče. Na koncu predlagam kratkoročne in dolgoročne ukrepe za izboljšanje opisane problematike.

Title:Problematic intersections in the municipality of Vrhnika - analysis of the selected intersection
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the traffic problems in the municipality of Vrhnika. The focus is on 5 intersections on the certain section of the regional road. The intersections are briefly described and main shortcomings are presented. This is followed by a more elaborate study of one intersection in which traffic, traffic-safety and spatial criteria are used. The traffic count results are analysed and the criteria of traffic load is checked. Web application is used in collecting the data about traffic accidents at the intersection in question and the reasons for the accident are analysed. The programme AutoCAD is used for the graphic examination of the visibility in approaching the intersection. In conclusion, some short-term and long-term measures are suggested for the improvement of the situation.
