Abstract

Title:Optimization of an experiment showing evapotranspiration for science school subjects
Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to describe the experiment, which illustrates the process of evapotranspiration. This is one of the key processes for understanding water cycle in nature and movement of water in plants. Effects of different patterns of vegetation and the wind effect on the rate of evapotranspiration were measured. The results obtained with weighing pots and measuring systems Vernier LabQuest 2 showed that different patterns of vegetation influence on the rate of evapotranspiration. Wind is also one of the important factors that accelerate the process of evapotranspiration. In conclusion, implications for teaching science using the described experiment were discussed.
