Abstract
Diplomsko delo v prvem delu predstavi razpoložljive tehnologije in možnosti ponovne uporabe asfaltnih zmesi. V nadaljevanju prvega dela sta predstavljena dva najpogosteje uporabljana postopka ponovne uporabe, in sicer postopek s ponovno uporabo na mestu rušenja, imenovan »hladna reciklaža« in recikliranja asfalta z opisom postopka pridobivanja asfaltnega granulata in postopkom priprave ter ponovne uporabe v novih asfaltnih zmeseh. V drugem delu naloge so predstavljene tako imenovane tehnologije proizvodnje tople asfaltne zmesi. Glede na tehnologije proizvodnje jih ločimo v dve skupini in sicer v proizvodnja katera izkorišča penjenje bitumna pri uparjanju vode ter tehnologija katera s pomočjo kemičnih dodatkov izkorišča kemično preoblikovanje strukture bitumenskega veziva. S pomočjo obeh se doseže znižanje viskoznosti bitumna brez povečanja temperature. V zaključnem delu naloge je predstavljenih nekaj statističnih podatkov o stanju uporabljanja tehnologij gradnje in rekonstrukcije cest opisanih v nalogi na območju Slovenije, Evrope in Sveta. V tem delu sta tudi izvrednoteni analizi ekonomske upravičenosti uporabe tehnologije proizvodnje tople asfaltne zmesi z uporabo Sasobita in pa ekonomske presoje izvedbe rekonstrukcije cestnega odseka z uporabo hladne reciklaže oziroma izvedbe po klasičnem postopku.

Title:Use of warm mix asphalt and reuse of reclaimed asphalt
Abstract:
Thesis in its first part describes known technologies for reclaiming of asphalt mixtures. There are two methods that are described. First one is called cold recycled technology, which is used in situ while road destruction. The second one is about getting, preparing and using recycled asphalt aggregate in production of new asphalt mixtures. In the second part of the thesis are represented technologies for warm mix asphalt production, which can basically be created in two ways. The first one is by using the fact that the hot binder expands and foams when water is added and the second one uses chemicals to change chemical structure of the binder. In any way is the goal to reduce bitumen viscosity without increasing binder temperature. The final part is about representing statistics of using above mentioned technologies in Slovenia, Europe and around the world. In the last part there is also analysed the economic viability of producing warm mix asphalt with Sasobit and viability of using technology of cold recycling instead of classic reconstruction.
