Abstract
Diplomsko delo obravnava vlogo kritičnega razumevanja družbenih razmerij moči v socialno pedagoški stroki in pozicioniranost slovenske socialno pedagoške stroke v razmerju do strukturnih dejavnikov in opresivnih praks, ki delujejo v imenu neenake porazdelitve družbene moči in virov. S poudarkom na manifestacijah hegemonih razmerij moči v vsakdanjem življenju posameznic_kov delo raziskuje prisotnost ter potencialnosti reflektiranega in kritičnega pristopa k socialno pedagoškim vsebinam iz praktičnih kontekstov. V empiričnem delu so z ilustrativnimi primeri prikazane adaptivne socialno pedagoške vsebine, ki jim umanjka reflektirana kritična naravnanost do sistemske vpetosti posameznic_kov in družbenih skupin ter mobilizacijske vsebine, ki skozi svojo kontekstualizirano in kritično obravnavo družbenih razmerij moči in njihovih manifestacij predstavlja primere dobre prakse.

Title:The importance of social power relations for social pedagogy
Abstract:
The thesis addresses the importance of critical understanding of social power relations within the social pedagogy and its stance towards structural elements and oppression that work on behalf of unequal power and source distribution. Focusing on the manifestations of hegemonic power relations in everyday life of individuals the thesis explores the presence and potentiality of a reflective and critical undrestanding in practical context of social pedagogy. The empirical part of the thesis uses ilustrative examples to show adaptive social pedagogical content that lacks the reflective critical understanding of one's interlacing relation/interaction with structural elements as well as mobilising content that represents examples of good practice with its contextualised and critical addressing of social power relations an its manifestations.
