Abstract

Title:Complexity theory in strategic civilian crisis management: sinergetics of psychosocial support in post-conflict areas
Abstract:
The research question of this paper is to study the conceptual, practical and methodological fragmentation and inefficiency of the current system of civil crisis management and management subsystems related thereto in post-conflict areas. The descriptive research method was used. A theoretical and qualitative empirical study with a non-randomized, dedicated and convenient sample, as well as a semi-structured in-depth interview as the data collecting method, were used as the research approach. In total, eight interviews were carried out, while the obtained data was analysed through a qualitative analysis with open and relational coding and test theory. Three test theories were developed, namely one of psychosocial support in post-conflict areas, based on three interviews, another of migration issues, based on four interviews, and of the terrorist phenomenon, based on one interview. Two expected results, which will contribute to the development of science, are the model of strategic civil crisis management in post-conflict areas, taking into account complexity theory which describes behaviour of systems and foresees professional practice in reference to these systems, and the subsystem of psychosocial support in the model of strategic civil crisis management in post-conflict areas, which is developed taking into account the complexity theory and the test theories from my research.
