Abstract
Vrtec predstavlja pomembno vzgojno ustanovo, ki vpliva na oblikovanje prehranjevalnih navad otrok. Vloga vzgojitelja je pomembna, saj zagotovi otrokom primerno pripravo, postrežbo in uživanje hrane. Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti, na kakšen način so vzgojiteljice vključene v prehransko oskrbo otrok in ali so razlike v prehranski oskrbi med I. starostnim in II. starostnim obdobjem. Raziskovala sem, s kakšnimi načini vzgojiteljice zagotavljajo spodbudno okolje za uživanje hrane v vrtcu in na kakšne načine spodbujajo otroke k uživanju hrane. Kvalitativna raziskava je temeljila na opazovanju šestih vzgojiteljic. Zaradi objektivnosti in poglobljenosti sem izvedla še intervju z vzgojiteljicami, ki sem jih opazovala. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da vzgojiteljice v času obrokov aktivno sodelujejo pri prevzemu in razdeljevanju hrane ter pomagajo otrokom pri uživanju hrane. Ugotovila sem, da obstajajo razlike med prehransko oskrbo otrok v I. starostnem in II. starostnem obdobju. Večina vzgojiteljic uporablja različne spodbude k uživanju hrane. S pomočjo intervjujev sem spoznala, da imamo ljudje včasih drugačno mnenje o sebi in svojem vedenju, kot nas vidijo drugi. Tako se je tudi vedenje določenih vzgojiteljic razlikovalo od izjav, ki so jih podale v intervjuju. Menim, da je opazovanje ena izmed bolj objektivnih metod raziskovanja, saj omogoča bolj poglobljeno spoznavanje pojavov v čim bolj naravnih razmerah in v kontekstu dejanskih okoliščin. Vloga vzgojiteljic je pri prehranski oskrbi otrok zelo pomembna, saj vzgojiteljica lahko razvija otrokove veščine za zdravo prehranjevanje, ga spodbuja in mu pomaga pri odločanju, ga navaja na samostojnost pri izbiranju, zmanjšuje pozornost na nagrajevanje/marketing in tako povečuje otrokovo motivacijo za zdravo prehranjevanje. Pomembno je, da so vzgojiteljice ustrezno usposobljene za prehransko oskrbo otrok, hkrati pa znajo organizirati hranjenje v vrtcu in na ustrezen način spodbujati otroke pri hranjenju.

Title:
The attitude of preschool teachers towards the catering of children in kindergartens
Abstract:
Kindergarten represents an important educational institution, which influences the formation of children’s eating habits. The role of kindergarten teachers is important because they provide children with appropriate preparation, service and eating. The purpose of the research was to find out in what way the kindergarten teachers are included in food supply for children and if there are any differences in it between the 1st and 2nd age group. I was researching the ways that are used by kindergarten teachers to provide encouraging environment for eating in the kindergarten and how kindergarten teachers encourage children to eat. Qualitative research was based on observation of six kindergarten teachers. I also did an interview with observed kindergarten teachers because of the objectivity and the depth of the research. The results of the research showed that kindergarten teachers actively cooperate in taking over and splitting up the food and have influence on children’s eating in the kindergarten. I found out that there are differences in food supply between the 1st and the 2nd age group. Most of the kindergarten teachers use various ways that encourage children to eat. By means of interviews I found out that our opinion about ourselves and our behaviour sometimes differs from what other people think of us. The behaviour of certain kindergarten teachers differed from the statements that they gave during the interviews. In my opinion observing is one of the most objective methods of researching because it enables deep studying of features in as natural circumstances as possible and in the context of actual circumstances. The role of kindergarten teachers in food supply of children is very important because they develop children’s skills for healthy eating, they encourage children and help them to make decisions and to become independent in choosing, they reduces attention for rewarding/marketing and increases child's motivation for healthy eating.
