Abstract
Temo diplomske naloge predstavljajo ljudske gibalno-rajalne igre ter njihova uporaba v Vrtcu Ciciban Novo mesto. V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge opisujemo igro in otrokov razvoj, zgodovino gibalno-rajalnih iger in posamezne ljudske gibalno-rajalne igre ter njihov pomen v vrtcu. V empiričnem delu smo z anketnim vprašalnikom ugotavljali, ali vzgojitelji poznajo igre, v kolikšni meri jih izvajajo, kako jih integrirajo v vzgojni načrt ter kakšni so odzivi otrok. V naši raziskavi se je izkazalo, da vzgojitelji igre poznajo in jih integrirajo v vzgojno delo tako načrtovano kot nenačrtovano. Ljudske gibalno-rajalne igre so preproste, zanimive, zabavne in otroci radi sodelujejo v njih. Poleg tega pripomorejo h gibalnemu razvoju otrok, socializaciji ter njihovi aktivnosti.

Title:Movement games in the past and their usage in today's kindergarten
Abstract:
The topic of the diploma thesis is folk movement and merry-making activities and their application in the kindergarten Ciciban Novo mesto. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis describes activities in relation to child's development, history of movement and merry-making activities, different folk movement and merry-making activities and importance of their use in a kindergarten. Empirical part of the thesis tackles the question whether childcare workers are acquainted with such activities, whether they include them in their programmes and how they integrate them in the schemata and how children react to them. The research showed that childcare workers are acquainted with the activities and that incorporation of the activities is either planned or unplanned. Folk movement and merry-making activities are simple, interesting, fun and children love to participate in them. In addition, they help in developing child's physical development, aid in the improvement of child's socialization and physical activity.
