Abstract
Pri projektiranju jeklenih okvirov je potrebno velik del pozornosti nameniti potresnemu projektiranju, saj so v preteklosti hudi potresi povzročili veliko škode na takšnih sistemih. Skozi čas so bili zato razviti različni disipativni sistemi, s katerimi bi se izognili hujšim poškodbam nosilne konstrukcije v primeru potresa. Uvod diplomske naloge predstavi osnovne tipe disipativnih elementov, v nadaljevanju pa so podrobneje opisane lastnosti, obnašanje in smernice za projektiranje treh izmed najefektivnejših sistemov.

Title:Dissipative elements in seismic resistant steel structures
Abstract:
In design of steel frames a huge focus is on seismic design since earthquakes caused a lot of damage on such systems. Through time different dissipative devices were developed to avoid fatal injuries. This graduation thesis presents some of them and more specifically discusses behaviour and design guidelines for three of the most effective systems.
