Abstract
V pričujočem delu je obravnavan razvoj vgrajene programske opreme za krmilnik brezkrtačnih enosmernih motorjev, ki mora zagotavljati natančno krmiljenje pozicije čez širok razpon hitrosti vrtenja rotorja. Krmilnik za določanje pozicije uporablja zunanji inkrementalni enkoder. Izmed poznanih krmilnih metod je bila izbrana metoda krmiljenja na osnovi polja. Predstavljeno je delovanja krmilnega algoritma in implementacija le-tega v vgrajenem operacijskem sistemu. Algoritem je optimiziran z uporabo aritmetike s fiksno vejico. Realizirana programska oprema krmilniku omogoča krmiljenje motorja v treh načinih obratovanja - krmiljenju hitrosti, krmiljenju pozicije ali krmiljenju hitrosti in pozicije hkrati z uporabo točk PVT. Spremljanje delovanja krmilnika in spreminjanje parametrov je mogoče z uporabo osebnega računalnika in namensko razvite programske opreme.

Title:Vector Controller for Brushless Direct Current Motors
Abstract:
The thesis addresses the development of firmware for brushless direct current motor controller, which has to ensure accurate motor position control across a wide range of operating speeds. External incremental encoder is used for motor position measurement. Field oriented control was selected as the preferred motor control method. The control algorithm is described and its implementation in the embedded operating system is presented. The algorithm is optimized using fixed point arithmetics. The produced controller firmware is capable of controlling the motor in three operating modes - position control, velocity control, or both position and velocity control using PVT points. Controller operation analysis and parameter updating is possible using the developed software running on a personal computer.
