The diploma thesis presents the programmable logic relay system PLC logic in detail and its application for controlling the model of protected level crossing.
In addition to this system, important components used for successful realization of the set task include the Arduino Uno microcontroller in conjunction with the Arduino software, inductive proximity sensors and servomotors.
The control of the model of protected level crossing is achieved by a combination of two functionally different programs of different programming languages. The first program, created in Ladder Diagram programming language, controls the input and output signals and also the supervisory part of control, while the other, created in programming language C, controls the servomotors. There, an electrically erasable programmable read-only memory EEPROM plays an important role.
The main results of the diploma thesis are therefore a detailed presentation of the programmable logic relay system PLC logic and its successful implementation on the model of protected level crossing.
