The thesis describes the comparison of free open source program Lightworks and payable Adobe Premiere Pro, which is used by a prosumer. I edited and mounted the captured videos taken by DSLR camera in those programs. The comparison of used programs is focused on their system requirements, visual effects and key-frames, text editing, adding sound and export options. I also describe pros and cons of each program. In the beginning of the thesis the history of video and its mounting is described. There are two end products made in those programs that can be viewed in the end.
