Orange is an open source data-mining software, capable of using multiple
sources for data analysis. There are a few test data samples already present
in Orange, and the user can import their own data sets with the use of one of
Orange input widgets. For this thesis, we created an add-on Orange Data Sets,
that includes widgets for accessing free data from World Bank application
program interface (API). The World Bank exposes four different data APIs;
indicator, project, finance and climate. Widgets included in the Orange Data
Sets add-on are be able to read data from the World Bank Indicators and
World Bank Climate APIs. This will enable Orange users a quick and easy
access to data from the two previously mentioned APIs.
