Abstract
Diplomska naloga opisuje sestavo ter izdelavo kaskadnega pretvornika. V uvodnem delu so opisane tri različne topologije večnivojskih pretvornikov, med katerimi je podrobnejše opisano delovanje kaskadnega pretvornika. Naštete so prednosti in slabosti ter osnovni principi delovanja teh treh topologij. V osrednjem delu diplomske naloge je opisana prilagoditev in izdelava posameznih komponent kaskadnega pretvornika. Naloga je zasnovati tri močnostna mostična vezja, ki se jih veže v kaskado. Z uporabo močnostnih CoolMOS tranzistorjev v mostičnem vezju dosežemo nazivno moč enega kilovata. Pri izdelavi so potrebna prilagoditvena vezja, preko katerih krmilimo in posredno uravnavamo pretok energije skozi posamezen mostični pretvornik. Vezje kaskadnega pretvornika sem opremil tudi z merilnimi vezji za zajem napetosti in toka. Za pravilno delovanje in optimalno varnost pretvornika sem prilagoditveno vezje in vezje za zajem merilnih signalov opremil z ustrezno galvansko ločitvijo. Sestava kaskadnega vezja v nalogi ne vsebuje izdelave mikrokrmilnika, kateri ima eno izmed pomembnejših vlog v večnivojskem pretvorniku.

Title:Cascaded multilevel inverter
Abstract:
The thesis describes the composition and preparation of a cascade converter. The introductory section describes three different topologies of multilevel inverters. Further, the operation of the cascade converter is presented. The advantages and disadvantages and the basic principles of operation of the three topologies are described. In the central part of the thesis is described the adaptation and production of individual circuit of the cascade converter. The task was to design three H-bridge circuits, which are connected in the cascade. By using the power CoolMOS transistors in the bridge circuit we achieved the rated power of one kilowatt. In the manufacturing of needed adjustment circuit we control and indirectly regulate the energy flow through each bridge converter. Cascade converter circuit was equipped with a measuring circuit to capture voltage and current. For the proper functioning and safe operation of the converter a matching circuit was realized to capture the measurement signals equipped with appropriate potencial isolation. The composition of the cascade circuit in the assignment does not include the design of microcontroller circuit that has one of the most important roles in the multilevel converter.
