Abstract
Magistrsko delo celovito obravnava razvoj in izgradnjo referenčnega poligona za preizkušanje matematičnih algoritmov, ki izračunavajo dinamične termične tokove vodnikov in posledično določajo dinamično prenosno zmogljivost daljnovodov. V prvem delu sta prikazana zasnova in načrtovanje referenčnega poligona. Izdelana je analiza tokovne zanke in izračunana potrebna napajalna moč poligona. Opisana je problematika potrebnih merilnih sistemov, njihova izgradnja in kalibracija. V osrednjem delu sta prikazana razvoj in izdelava hibridnega regulatorja. Rezultati delovanja so potrdili ustrezno zasnovo in izgradnjo referenčnega poligona. Pridobljene meritve so pokazale na določene pomanjkljivosti matematičnih algoritmov dinamičnega določanja prenosne zmogljivosti daljnovodov in možnosti njihove izboljšave. Predlagane izboljšave so bile uporabljene za nadgradnjo matematičnega algoritma.

Title:A REFERENCE TEST SITE FOR ASSESSMENT OF DYNAMIC POWER LINE OPERATIONAL LIMITS ALGORITHMS
Abstract:
The master's thesis deals comprehensively with the development and construction of the reference test site for the assessment of mathematical algorithms that calculate the dynamic thermal rate of power line conductors, thus determining the dynamic power line operational limits. The first part explains the design and development of the reference test site and presents the calculation of the analysis of the current loop and required power supply for test site. Specific issues of the required measurement systems, their construction and calibration are also described. The core of the master’s thesis features the development and production of a hybrid regulator. The analysis of the system's response and the development of PID and fuzzy control including the tuning parameters have been carried out. Within the scope of the data processing oversampling of the signal with the aim to increase the resolution of ADC converter, the design and implementation of an appropriate digital filter are shown. In continuation, the thesis explains the information system, which is the basis for data storage and data exchange between various sub-assemblies and external users of the test site. The results of operation have confirmed proper design and construction of the reference test site. Acquired measurements have revealed specific deficiencies of mathematical algorithms which determine dynamic power line operational limits and their possible improvements. The proposed improvements have been used to improve the mathematical algorithm.
