Abstract
Diplomsko delo se osredotoča na analizo signala od vhodnega materiala (piezoelektričnega elementa) do končnega izdelka (žarilne svečke s tlačnim zaznavalom). Zbrana je teorija piezoelektričnega pojava, ki predstavlja temeljno znanje za izgradnjo tlačnega zaznavala, katerega osnovni gradnik je obroček iz piezoelektrične keramike. Bralec se seznani s problematiko staranja piezoelektrične keramike in metodami, ki zagotavljajo stabilno delovanje končnega izdelka. V nadaljevanju spoznamo nekatere osnovne funkcije integriranega vezja, ki omogoča pretvorbo naboja v napetost sorazmerno tlaku v valju motorja, ter način optimizacije parametrov za kalibracijo končanega tlačnega zaznavala. V zaključnem delu se dotaknemo še možnosti uporabe tlačnega zaznavala za potencialnega kupca.

Title:Analysis of the pressure sensor's signal in a cylinder of an internal combustion engine
Abstract:
The work focuses on the analysis of the signal from the incoming material (piezoelectric element) to finished product (pressure sensor glow plug). The theoretical background of piezoelectric effect is presented, as it represents the knowledge base for the construction of a pressure sensor, with the piezoelectric ceramic ring as the basic building block. The reader gets familiar with the problem of aging of the piezoelectric ceramics and methods that ensure the stable operation of the final product. Furthermore, some basic functions of the integrated circuit, which provides conversion of charge into a voltage proportional to the pressure in the cylinder of the engine, and the method of optimization of parameters necessary for calibration of the finished pressure sensor, are presented. In the final part we look at the possibilities of using a pressure sensor for a potential buyer.
