In the Kekec stories it is possible to see how the family relationships were governed; the people had no problem recognizing their position in society and behavior in accordance with it. Nowadays, among the youth, as well as in society in general there is a lot of rebellion present, avoidance or violation of the rules, insincere relationships, failure and consequent corruption. In the thesis I presented the concept of values, the impact of fairy tales on children, I was wondering how the values reflected in the Kekec. Through a comparative analysis, I found out that the values and principles of life in Kekec stories are still relevant and they awake the desire in the reader to possess these values and live more active life.
