This graduation thesis explains the planning, design, construction and maintenance of the surface and internal drainage systems. They are extremely important for effective drainage of the grassed sport fields.
In the initial section we describe the key parameters, phenomena and theoretical basis, which determine water movement in soil and are crucial for understanding the principles of drainage. What follows next, are the surface and internal drainage descriptions and characteristics, that are used for drainage of unpaved grassed sports fields, especially soccer fields.
