Povezanost indeksa telesne mase s ploskostjo stopala pri učencih prve triade

Abstract
Pravilen razvoj stopala ima pomemben vpliv na kvaliteto življenja posameznika. Od trenutka, ko malček naredi prve korake pa vse do pozne starosti, so stopala za večino ljudi edini stik s podlago, ki omogoča prosto gibanje. Prvi del diplomske naloge je teoretično obarvan z namenom predstavitve stopala, njegove zgradbe in možnih deformacij. Opisani so postopki pridobivanja podatkov na podlagi katerih je bila raziskava izvedena. Osrednja tema je pojav ploskega stopala v povezavi z indeksom telesne mase, predstavljeni pa so tudi rezultati dosedanjih raziskav. Eksperimentalni del vključuje 108 otrok prve triade osnovne šole Pirniče, od katerih je 38 deklic in 70 dečkov. Na podlagi plantogramov njihovih stopal je bil opravljen izračun Clarkovega kota po katerem je opredeljena oblika stopala. Iz meritev za športnovzgojni karton so bili pridobljeni podatki o telesni teži, telesni višini in kožni gubi nadlahti, izračunan je bil indeks telesne mase. Ugotavljali smo pogostost ploskosti stopal glede na spol, povezavo med ploskostjo stopala glede na telesno težo, višino, indeks telesne mase in izmerjeno kožno gubo. Rezultati kažejo, da ima ploska stopala med 28,7% in 31,5% vseh merjencev, pri čemer prevladujejo dečki s 34,3% za leva in z 38,6% za desna stopala. Pri deklicah smo zaznali 18,4% delež ploskosti pri obeh stopalih. Deklice imajo mejna stopala v 42,1% do 47,4%, dečki pa med 34,3% in 41,4%. Vpliva telesne teže, višine, kožne gube in indeksa telesne mase nismo dokazali. Indeks telesne mase smo razvrstili v skupine, ki opredeljujejo debelost in prekomerno telesno težo, vendar tudi tu nismo odkrili statistično pomembnih razlik.

Title:Correlation of body mass index with the phenomenon of flat feet in first three grades of primary school
Abstract:
The proper development of the foot has a significant impact on the life quality of the individual. From the moment when the child makes his first steps through to old age, the feet, for majority, represent the most important contact with the ground. The first part of the thesis is theoretical representation of the foot, its structure and possible deformations. Methods of obtaining data on the basis of which the survey was conducted are represented. The central theme is the association between flat foot and body mass index, results of previous researches are also represented. Experimental part includes 108 children of the first triad of primary school Pirniče, of which are 38 girls and 70 boys. Based on plantograms of their feet the Clarke angle has been calculated in order to define the shape of the foot. From Physical education card the needed data were obtained including body weight, body height and skin fold of the upper arm, body mass index was calculated. We determined the frequency flatness of the feet with respect to gender, the link between flat foot according to body weight, height, body mass index and skinfold. The results show that between 28.7% and 31.5% children have flat feet. Boys dominate with 34.3% for the left, and with 38.6% for the right foot. Girls have flat feet in 18.4%. The impact of body weight, height, skin fold and body mass index could not be proved. Yet some insignificant differences have shown by dividing body mass index into categories for overweight and obesity.
