Abstract
Diplomsko delo »Uporaba učnih ciljev predmeta Gospodinjstvo na področju športnih oblačil« raziskuje izbiro in vzdrževanje oblačil za šport s strani osnovnošolcev od 5. do 9. razreda osnovne šole in njihovih staršev. Osredotoča se zlasti na to, v kolikšni meri k njihovemu ravnanju pripomorejo osvojene šolske vsebine na to temo. S tematiko oblačil se namreč v Sloveniji seznanimo v 5. razredu osnovne šole pri predmetu Gospodinjstvo; splošne in specializirane tekstilije oziroma oblačila ter njihovo ustrezno vzdrževanje so sestavni del učnih ciljev, ki jih nato praktično uporabljamo vse življenje. Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu sta najprej predstavljena pojem in zgodovina oblačil za šport in prosti čas. Sledita splošna razdelitev tekstilij ter obravnava posebnosti športnih tekstilij s teoretičnega in praktičnega vidika (vzdrževanje). V zadnjem delu teoretičnega dela pa sta opravljeni opredelitev in analiza učnih ciljev predmeta Gospodinjstvo, pri čemer so podani tudi nekateri predlogi za doseganje teh ciljev na področju športnih oblačil. V empiričnem delu je predstavljena anketa, s katero so se ugotavljali vzroki izbire določenega oblačila za šport s strani otrok zadnjih petih razredov osnovne šole in njihovih staršev, ter njihovo poznavanje posebnosti športnih oblačil glede na osvojene učne cilje predmeta Gospodinjstvo. Rezultati so pokazali, da je raven osveščenosti otrok in staršev glede uporabe in nege tekstilij in oblačil precej visoka, pri čemer svojemu znanju bolj zaupajo starši kot otroci, saj se slednji bolj zanesejo na oznako proizvajalca glede namembnosti oblačila. Osvojeni cilji pri predmetu Gospodinjstvo torej uspešno spremljajo tako učence kot njihove starše, čeprav bi jih glede na hiter tehnološki razvoj na področju športnih in drugih tekstilij veljalo nekoliko razširiti.

Title:The use of the study goals of the subject Home economics in the field of sports and athletic clothing
Abstract:
The thesis "The Use of the Study Goals of the Subject Home Economics in the Field of Sports and Athletic Clothing" deals with ways in which students from the 5th to the 9thgrades of primary school as well as their parents choose and take care of their clothes for sports. The focus is on finding to what extent their actions are influenced by the knowledge acquired at school in this connection. In Slovenia, the subject of clothing is part of the Home Economics curriculum; multi-purpose and specialised textiles and clothing with the appropriate maintenance are some of the Home Economics study goals, and are practically used throughout one's life. The thesis consists of the theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part first presents the terminology and history of sports and leisure clothing. This is followed by a general classification of textiles and the analysis of the specificities of sports textiles from a theoretical and practical point of view (textile care). The last chapter of the theoretical part is the definition and analysis of the study goals of Home Economics in this domain. Some suggestions for achieving these goals in the field of sports clothing are given as well. The empirical part deals with the results of a survey conducted among students in the last five grades of primary school and their parents. The survey aimed to find why they choose a certain piece of clothing for their sports activity, and to what extent they are aware of the specifics of sports clothing as conveyed by the Home Economics study goals. The results showed that the level of knowledge of both the students and their parents on the use and special care of sports textiles is quite high. However, the adults tend to trust their knowledge more than the children, who rely more on the manufacturer labels on the recommended use of a clothing item. The learnt Home Economics study goals in this domain thus successfully remain with both the students and their parents. Nevertheless, these study goals should be somewhat expanded due to the rapid technological advancement in the field of sports and other textiles.
