Abstract
V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge opisujem pojem teksture in monokromnosti v likovni umetnosti. Nadaljujem s pregledom abstraktnega ekspresionizma v ZDA in izpostavim predstavnike gibanja ter bolj podrobno opisujem njihovo raziskovanje monokromnosti. Nato predstavim umetnost v evropskem prostoru in posamezne avtorje, ki so bili in so še nosilci povojnega slikarstva 60. let, še posebej Tapiesa in domačega ustvarjalca Janeza Bernika. V avtorskem delu diplomske naloge predstavljam lastna slikarska dela, ki so nastala kot raziskovanje haptičnosti slike ob uporabi različnih materialov in zemeljskih barv. Predvsem me je zanimalo igranje svetlobe na različnih monokromnih haptičnih površinah. V pedagoško-raziskovalnem delu predstavim učno pripravo in analiziram proces pouka in izdelke dijakov po izvedbi učne ure likovne vzgoje s področja informela. Področje informela je že dlje časa del pedagoških učno-vzgojnih ur, kjer se učenci na različne načine prepričajo o haptičnosti in vizualizaciji.

Title:The materiality of paint
Abstract:
My diploma thesis researches Matter Painting in the 2nd half of the 20th century, which content is about social changes after the Second World War, undermining the individual’s freedom and triggering major changes in art. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the concept of texture and monochromacy in art. Following a review of the Abstract Expressionism in the United States, I highlight the representatives of this movement and describe in more detail their research of monochromacy. The thesis then presents art in Europe and individual artists who have been and still are the pillars of post-war painting of the 60s, particularly Tàpies and Slovenian artist Janez Bernik. The practical part presents my own paintings, which were created as a research of haptics in painting using different materials and earth colors. I was predominantly interested in observing the light on different monochrome haptic surfaces. In the pedagogic research part I present the lesson plan and analyse the process of teaching and art works of students after giving a lesson of Art Informel. The Art Informel approach has often been an element of art lessons, where students learn about haptics and visualization.
