Abstract
Baterije so naši pogosti spremljevalci.

Title:Battery technologies for electrical vehicles
Abstract:
Batteries are our daily companions. We can find them in different portable electronic devices. Batteries are the alternative power of the future, especially present in the development of electric vehicles. In the last decade, important changes have happened. Scientists are improving old technologies and new are coming to the surface. New inventions made it possible that more and more electric vehicles drive on streets today and have comparabile performance vehicles driven by petrol or oil internal combustion engines. This thesis is divided into two parts. The first describes the characteristics and description of the two most wides pread batteries present on the market today. The automobile producers place more and more electric and hybrid vehicles driven by lithium- ion batteries into their production so I decided to present them in a more detailed way in my thesis. The second passage includes the description of battery management system (BMS), which has a very important role in the development of electric vehicles. This passage also describes electric vehicles and their way of charging. Among the most interesting vehicles present on the Slovenian market today are Renault Zoe, Nissan Leaf, Tesla, Opel Ampera. So I have decided to present them in my thesis.
