Abstract
Diplomsko delo obravnava stroj za izdelovanje nogavic Lonati. Podjetje je vodilni in svetovno znani proizvajalec pletilnih strojev za različne vrste nogavic. Z njihovimi produkti lahko izdelujemo gladke nogavice, nogavice s frotir pletenjem, kompresijske nogavice, hlačne nogavice, otroške nogavice , medicinske nogavice, trakove, rokavčke ali nogavčke za športne aktivnosti ... Če želimo proizvajati določeno vrsto pletenine, je za vsak končni produkt potreben za to prilagojen stroj. V diplomskem delu se bomo posvetili stroju GL 616 ’SbyS’, ki je namenjen izdelovanju gladkih nogavic. Stroj bomo priredili tako, da bomo lahko izdelovali nogavice s frotir pletenjem, kasneje tudi g-flot nogavico. Delo je razdeljeno na šest poglavij. Prvo poglavje predstavlja uvod v diplomsko delo ter definira naše celotno delo. Pri drugem poglavju je predstavljen in opisan stroj, ki ga bomo priredili. Opisane so glavne značilnosti stroja, nadzorna plošča in upravljanje. V tretjem poglavju spoznamo izdelovanje gladke nogavice ter osnovne elemente stroja, ki so prisotni pri izdelovanju. V poglavju so predstavljeni tudi programi BigBang, Photon in QuasarL, ki so osnova za upravljanje pletilnega stroja oziroma elementov stroja. S četrtim poglavjem se začne prireditev stroja iz gladkega v frotir pletenje. V prvem delu je opisano, kakšno nogavico želimo narediti in kakšna je razlika med različnim pletenjem. V drugem delu poglavja že začnemo s prirejanjem stroja. Opisano je vse, kar moramo spremeniti, zamenjati na stroju, da bomo lahko izdelovali tak tip nogavice. Kar je potrebno spremeniti, je predstavljeno mehansko in tudi programsko. Omenjene so tudi le nekatere večje napake, ki se lahko naredijo med samim prirejanjem stroja. Pri stroju, s katerim lahko izdelujemo nogavice s frotir pletenjem, imamo le še nekaj majhnih korakov, da ga priredimo za izdelovanje g-flot nogavic. Kaj moramo spremeniti in zamenjati, je opisano v petem poglavju. Delo se konča s šestim poglavjem, kjer je primerjava nogavic z gladkim, frotir in g-flot pletenjem. Zadnji del poglavja je še zaključek diplomskega dela in opredelitev načrtov za nadaljnje delo.

Title:Hardware and software upgrade of knitting machine Lonati Goal GL616
Abstract:
The thesis is related to the sock- knitting machine Lonati. The company is among the leading, world known manufacturers of knitting machines for different kinds of socks. With their products, we can make plain socks, terry knitting socks, compression socks, tights, socks for children, medical socks, strips, sleeves and socks for sports activities… However, if we want to manufacture certain kinds of knitting wear, the machine has to be adjusted properly. The thesis specifically deals with the machine GL 616 »SbyS« for making plain socks. The machine will be adjusted to make terry socks, later also g-flot socks. Work is divided into six chapters. The first chapter contains the introduction into the thesis and defines thesis goals. The second chapter introduces and describes the machine, which will be adjusted, and the main features of the machine as well as the control panel and the management of the machine. In the third chapter we get to know the machine for manufacturing plain socks and the main elements of the machine, which are present at the production. In this chapter, we also introduce software such as BigBang, Photon and QuasarL, which are the basic for managing the sock-knitting machine or the elements of the machine. The fourth chapter is related to the adjustment of the machine, from plain to terry knitting. The first section describes how to make a certain sock and the difference between different knitting techniques. In the second part, the adjustment of the machine is described. All changes are described, the mechanical part and the used software. Major problems, which can occur during the adjustment, are also described in this section. For manufacturing terry socks, there are only few steps, which have to be made, to adjust the machine for g-flot knitting. What needs to be done is written in the fifth section. The thesis ends with the sixth chapter, where all three different techniques of knitting are compared, plain knitting, terry knitting and g-flot knitting. The last part of the chapter is the conclusion of the thesis and the definition of plans for future work.
