The thesis presents short-term and long-term actions aimed to improve the Mokronog road network. It is divided into three key chapters describing the current road conditions as well as all necessary general actions, along with some concrete solutions aimed to improve the road network.
The first chapter is divided into five sections. The first section is an insight into the current regional road conditions. The second section gives an overview of the current conditions of the rest of the local roads. The third section provides a description of the current layout of cycling surfaces and pedestrian areas. The fourth section deals with the problem of goods traffic passing through the settlement centre. The fifth section presents the yearly average of daily traffic, giving an insight into the traffic growth rate in the indicated years.
The second chapter deals with the methodology of processing solutions to improve road network in the Mokronog settlement. The third chapter is divided into two sections. The first section presents short-term actions to improve road networks, i.e. the reconstruction of the Trebnje-Mokronog-Sevnica regional road, the reconstruction of the local road connecting the regional municipal capitals, the reconstruction of the Martinja vas-Hrastovica local road as well as the crossroads reconstruction. The second section presents long-term actions, i.e. the construction of a
bypass around the Mokronog settlement.
