Abstract
Cilj diplomskega dela je izdelati računalniško aplikacijo za krmiljenje kamere preko protokola VISCA. Podjetje, kjer sem zaposlen, ima vizijo radijski postaji dodati novo dimenzijo in jo poslušalcu predstaviti tudi slikovno na televiziji. Gre za združitev radia in televizije. Od tu izhaja potreba po računalniškem vodenju kamere. Ker gre za testno okolje in so sredstva za razvoj omejena, smo se odločili za razvoj lastne aplikacije za krmiljenje kamere. Aplikacija mora biti napisana za operacijski sistem Microsoft Windows in mora omogočati komunikacijo s kamero z osnovnimi ukazi za krmiljenje. Omogočati mora krmiljenje najmanj treh kamer in upravljanje z miško. Rezultat ugotovljenega je računalniška aplikacija, ki sem jo spisal s programskim jezikom C# v razvojnem okolju Microsoft Visual Studio 2015. Aplikacija s kamero komunicira preko protokola VISCA, ki temelji na RS232 oz. RS422 komunikaciji. Jedro aplikacije je komunikacija med kamero in računalnikom. Kamere se upravlja z uporabniškim vmesnikom, ki vsebuje ukaze za upravljanje kamere. Aplikacija je zadovoljila potrebe po krmiljenju kamer v testnem okolju in se je izkazala za odlično rešitev.

Title:Remote control of Sony BRC-300 cameras
Abstract:
The main objective of the thesis is to create a computer application for controlling cameras using the VISCA protocol. The company where I work wishes to add a new dimension to the radio station and present it to the public visually on television- a merge of radio and television. This is where the need for computer controlled cameras originates. Due to the fact that this is a test environment and the resources for development are limited we decided to develop our own application for camera controlling. The application needs to be compatible with the Microsoft Windows operating system and needs to enable a communication with the camera through basic controls. It needs to enable the controlling of at least three cameras and be managed by a computer mouse. The result is a computer application which I developed in the C# programming language in Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 development environment. The application communicates with the camera using the VISCA protocol which is based on RS232 or RS422 communication. The core of the application is the communication between the camera and the computer. The cameras are controlled by a user interface which includes controls for controlling the camera. The application has satisfied the needs for camera controlling in the test environment and has proved to be an excellent solution.
