Abstract

Title:
Isolated operation of single-family house with solar power plant
Abstract:
The theme of my diploma thesis is the isolated operation of single-family house with solar power plant. In the introduction, we learn something about the self-sufficiency with electric energy and the proper functioning of smaller solar power station. In the main part of diploma thesis is first, with the help of layout plans os single-family home, described the daily consumption of electric energy. In the calculation of solar radiation for our solar system I take into account the specific parameters and helped myself with the data of meteorological stations. The result is daily values of solar radiation on the inclined receiving surface for year 2012. When analyzing the stable electric supply, I compared different types of photovoltaic modules and batteries. I found out that the use of high quality photovoltaic modules installed on the roof of a small house already sufficient battery capacity of 30 kWh.
