Abstract
Diplomska naloga predstavi izvedbo projekta posodobitve stroja za upogibanje pločevine v družinskem podjetju Marinčič s.p.. Posodobitev stroja je podjetju omogočila enostavnejše in kvalitetnejše proizvajanje kovinskih profilov. Projekt posodobitve stroja je obsegal analiziranje težave pri dolgotrajnosti mehanskih nastavitev horizontalne osi stroja, preučevanje različnih možnosti rešitve in ustrezno načrtovanje, izbiro primerne opreme, izdelavo električnih shem stroja, razvoj kode za programirljivi logični krmilnik in aplikacije za operaterski vmesnik, izdelavo elektro–omare ter strojno predelavo stroja. V diplomskem delu so natančno opisane vse faze realizacije projekta. Predstavljena so tudi uporabljena programska orodja, programibilni logični krmilnik, operaterski panel in servomotor.

Title:UPGRADE OF THE MACHINE FOR SHEET METAL BENDING
Abstract:
The thesis presents the implementation of the bending machine upgrade. The bending machine is used for bending metal sheets in company Marinčič s.p.. After upgrade, machine is easier to operate and is able to produce products with better quality. Machine upgrade project is consisted of analysing the time consuming mechanical adjustment of machine horizontal axis, studying of a few different possible solutions, design and selection of suitable equipment, creating electrical drawings, development of programmable logic controller software and operators panel application. Electrical panel and mechanical upgrade of existing machine was also carried out. All phases of project are presented in the thesis. In addition all used equipment like software tools, programmable logic controller, operator’s panel and servomotor are described in details.
