Abstract
Naprave imajo različno sposobnost prikazovanja in reproduciranja barv, pravimo, da imajo različne barvne prostore. Nenadzorovan prenos barv med njimi pripelje do izgube vizualne informacije in povzroči nepredvidljivost rezultatov. Sistem barvnega upravljanja zagotavlja pravilne, predvidljive in ponovljive izpise oz barvne reprodukcije iz različnih vhodnih in izhodnih naprav na različne substrate. To omogočajo ICC (International Color Consortium) opisi vseh naprav v reprodukcijski verigi, ki preko skupnega, od naprav neodvisnega, veznega barvnega prostora (angl.: PCS – Profile Connection Space) ustrezno transformirajo barvne prostore. V nadaljevanju diplomsko delo obravnava praktično vpeljavo sistema barvnega upravljanja v realno delovno okolje podjetja Foto Grad, kjer je potrebno zagotoviti pravilne barve pri različnih vhodnih in izhodnih napravah ter različnih materialih in tehnologijah, pri tem pa upoštevati tudi ekonomski moment in čimbolj izkoristiti obstoječo strojno in programsko opremo.

Title:Implementation of Color Management System
Abstract:
The devices have different ability to display and reproduct the colors, i.e. they have different color spaces. Uncontrolled transfer of color between them leads to loss of visual information and lead to the unpredictability of results. Color Management System (CMS) ensures accurate, predictable and reproducible prints or color reproductions from various input and output devices on a variety of substrates. The ICC (International Color Consortium) profiles of all devices in the reproductive chain properly transform variety of color spaces through a common (devices independent) connection space (PCS - Profile Connection Space). The following thesis deals with the practical introduction of the Color Management System in the real working environment of company Foto Grad where it`s necessary to ensure the correct colors for the various input and output devices in addition to a variety of materials and technologies, at the same taking into account the present economic moment and according to that use the most all of existing hardware and software resources.
