Abstract
Namen diplomskega dela je izdelava spletne učilnice za vodenje šolske evidence predmetov, z njimi povezanega ocenjevanja, posredovanja obvestil študentom prek elektronske pošte, ocenjevanja študentov in na drugi strani za pregled ocen, prijave na vaje ter pregled obvestil za študente. V uvodnem delu diplomskega dela so opisana orodja in tehnologije, ki so bile uporabljene za razvoj spletne aplikacije eLab. To so HTML, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, Ajax in CSS. Skozi opis orodij in tehnologij so tudi opisani načini izdelave podatkovne baze s pomočjo orodja PowerDesigner in načini pretvorbe dobljenega konceptualnega modela v fizični model podatkovne baze. Nazadnje je podan še videz strukture spletne strani, kjer so podani in na kratko opisane posamezne datoteke, potrebne za delovanje in videz spletne strani. V nadaljevanju ali glavnem delu je opisana aplikacija skupaj z zaslonskimi maskami in izseki kode, ki so opremljeni s padajočo razlago.

Title:World-wide-web classroom eLab
Abstract:
This thesis' purpose is the development of a web site that any school system could use for their needs of creating and maintaining school's classes, distribution of notifications to their students via emails, grading students and, on the other side, for their needs of delivering data to students, that can check their grades, register themselves on certain classes and discover public notifications. Firstly, the introductory section, gives the insight of how the website was built alongside which tools and tehnologies were used during that development. Web site was built using HTML, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, Ajax and CSS technologies. Through this description, thesis also provides the reader with ways used for developing and integrating database using Power Designer tool for firstly creating conceptual data model and then the physical data model as well. Lastly, this section also introduces the view of the structure of the web site, where the main files alongside with their descriptions are given. Thos files define the functioning and the style of the website eLab. The thesis, in the main part, continues with thorough description of the website itself, where the screenshots and code snippets are given for most parts of the website.
