Abstract
Zaradi množičnega menjavanja stare cestne razsvetljave z novo LED razsvetljavo, kljub obstoječi cestni geometriji, nastane problem, saj nova razsvetljava ne izpolnjuje zahtev standardov in priporočil. Rezultati so podani v tabelah in slikah.

Title:Determination of the optimal spatial distribution of luminous intensity in luminaries with LEDs used for street lighting
Abstract:
The thesis addresses the field of lighting technology, which is engaged in outdoor and street lighting. Outdoor and street lighting contribute to greater safety and better comfort of the users and better visibility in darkness and low light conditions. Street lighting is most often used in night time, but also during the day, when it comes to specific circumstances affecting lack of light on traffic area. Due to massive replacement process of the old street lighting with new LED lighting, despite the existing road geometry, the problem arises when the new lighting does not satisfy requirements of the standards and recommendations. Therfore, we made a program that creates optimal spatial light distribution for conditions of any existing road geometry. The first part of thesis describes the basic purpose of street lighting, overview of standards and presentation of the road lighting design. This part is dedicated to understand principle of proper street lighting. We're introduced with basic parameters and concepts of street lighting, which helps us understand street lighting basics. In the second part we described photometry and it's main photometric values which are most often used in practice. There is given table of the spatial distribution of light intensity which is used in the simulation programs. Third part describes our program for optimal spatial distribution of light intensity which includes four parts. There are also calculations of the parameters we have used. Fourth part of this thesis presents the simulation program that we have used, DIALux. We've made comparison of our optimal lamp and specific street lamp which is used in street lighting. Results are given in tables and charts.
