Abstract
Diplomsko delo opisuje komunikacije med napravami in oštevilčenje naprav interneta stvari. V delu je opisan M2M referenčni model in protokoli, ki se uporabljajo za komunikacijo med posameznimi gradniki M2M referenčnega modela. Predstavljeni so možni dostopi M2M naprav do omrežja. Glavni del diplomskega dela je namenjen oštevilčenju za komunikacije med napravami in vsem težavam, ki jih bodo povzročile nove naprave povezane v omrežje. Če v številskem prostoru prične zmanjkovati ali celo zmanjka razpoložljivih prostih številk, sem predstavil možne rešitve, kako se problemu izogniti. V diplomskem delu so v uvodu predstavljena najbolj pogosta področja uporabe M2M naprav, aplikacij in za vsako področje je podan splošen primer uporabe. Na koncu dela je opisan praktičen primer oštevilčenja avtomobilov za nov vseevropski sistem klica v sili eCall ter prikazano je, kako bo sistem vplival na številski prostor.

Title:The numbering of IoT devices
Abstract:
The thesis describes the M2M communication and numbering for M2M devices . In the thesis the M2M reference model and protocols used for communication between the different elements of the M2M reference model are described. The thesis describes possible access of M2M devices to the network. In the main part of the thesis I focus on the numbering plan for M2M communication and the potential problems that could emerged because of all new M2M devices connected to the network. In the case if the numbering range starts running short or even run out of available numbers I have presented possible solutions how to avoid the problem. In the introduction the thesis presents the most common scope of M2M devices and applications. For each scope I present the cases of general use. At the end of the work I describe a practical example of the numbering for the car for a new European system eCall. It is shown how the system will affect the numbering range.
