Interest in review and thorough processing of telephone conversations is still relevant, since it enables us to have a control over consumption and a control of telephone expenses. In the last 15 years, we have witnessed a fearsome development in this field. Initially, in the area of Slovenia, only one provider of telephone services was present, and today, there are numerous providers. Regulatory issues in this field are taken care of by the Agency for Communication Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia.
In the introduction, I have described a historical overview of telephony, and described the products available for individual user.
Further, I have described the tariff system Puls3000, which enables an overview of the telephone conversations for all types of exchanges: public within the company Telekom Slovenije, where Centreks system is used, and private used by individual subscribers. I have described programme´s system settings, which are the main part for smooth operation of the Puls3000 application, its use, and all possibilities that are offered to the user for smooth telephone conversations monitoring.
In conclusion, I have presented a possible upgrade of the tariff system Puls3000 due to the changes influencing the correct billing of voice telecommunications services and their consequences for everyday user.
Nowadays, it is difficult to consistently monitor costs of telephone conversations, since the user can at any time change the provider of the telephone services and switch to another provider. Consequently, this means a change of prices of the telephone services. There is no regulation of this area, therefore each provider sets prices freely.
