Abstract
Skozi projekt so prišli do spoznanj o kulturni dediščini kraja, predvsem pa so pridobili veliko novih izkušenj v procesih učenja z raziskovanjem.

Title:
Shoemaking in our town
Abstract:
Activity-based learning is child-centred learning. It has a great effect on the development of child's abilities and potentials. It also has an impact on construction of knowledge. Activity-based learning is changing our prospects on learning and teaching. It's trying to preserve will for developing new knowledge. Children are developing a variety of proficiencies, competences, values and customs. Teacher's task is to enable researching and also to direct and help children with their research. The first part of my diploma thesis introduces the theoretical basis of activity-based learning and the importance of cultural heritage in preschool curriculum. The second part of theoretical basis explains inquiry process as part of activity-based learning. The empirical part of the thesis introduces the project Shoemaking in our town as activity-based learning type in which an inquiry process was used. Children were active in all steps of the research. They learned a lot about cultural heritage of their town and acquired practical experiences throughout the process.
