Abstract
Magistrsko delo obravnava nadzorni sistem Sparkeye, katerega uporabljamo v podjetju Telekom Slovenije za nadzor nad delovanjem baznih postaj. Za njihovo delovanje je potrebno stalno spremljanje in analiziranje meritev, ki jih dobimo s pomočjo nadzornega sistema. Na podlagi teh meritev je izvedeno tudi ustrezno alarmiranje, s katerim lahko preprečimo morebitne izpade delovanja baznih postaj. Ker se naprave v baznih postajah stalno nadgrajujejo in posodabljajo, je potreba po vključitvi dodatnih merilnikov in senzorjev v nadzorni sistem neizogibna. V prvem delu naloge so na splošno predstavljene bazne postaje, njeni sestavni deli ter tehnološka oprema, ki je potrebna za njihovo delovanje. V drugem delu je predstavljen nadzorni sistem SparkEye, nadzorna naprava, komunikacijski sistem, centralni strežnik ter nadzorna aplikacija SparkEye. Na koncu so podrobno opisane meritve in analize rezultatov, ki so značilne za določen merilnik oziroma senzor, s poudarkom na odkrivanju napak in optimizaciji delovanja baznih postaj.

BASE STATION SUPERVISORY SYSTEM
Abstract:
Master thesis discusses Sparkeye control system used for controling base stations in Telekom Slovenije company. Their activity requires regular controling and analyzing of measurements obtained through the control system. Based on these measurements there is an alarm system which can prevent possible breakouts in activity of the base stations. The necessity to integrate additional measure devices and sensors into the control system is inevitable due to the constant upgrading and updating of devices in base stations. The first part of the thesis presents base stations in general, their components and technological equipment required for their functioning. The second part presents Sparkeye control system, control device, communication system, central server and Sparkeye control application. Final part of dissertation describes measurements and analyzes of results which are typical for particular measuring device or sensor with an emphasis on detecting errors and optimization of base stations’ activity.
