Abstract
Proizvodnja pomeni transformacijo surovin v izdelke za prodajo in je že od nekdaj pomemben del poslovanja v družbi. Pomembno je, da izberemo pravo vrsto proizvodnje, saj različne vrste proizvodenj zagotavljajo, da je usklajenost med poslovnimi funkcijami in poslovno strategijo v podjetju lahko na najvišjem nivoju. Učinkovitost posamezne proizvodnje lahko povišamo s pomočjo modela, na katerem izvajamo simulacije. S pomočjo teh eksperimentov ugotovimo, kako se model obnaša v odvisnosti od različnih vhodnih podatkov, in tako določimo najučinkovitejšo kombinacijo le teh glede na posamezni delovni nalog. Dolgoročno ali kratkoročno planiranje proizvodnje podjetju doprinese k manjšim stroškom, višjemu izkoristku resursov in drugim prednostim. Ker se zavedam pomembnosti proizvodnje in njene optimizacije, sem se optimizacije proizvodnje lotil tudi sam. Modeliranje proizvodne linije sem izvedel s pomočjo programskega okolja MATLAB, z orodjem Simulink s knjižnico SimEvents. Optimalni plan lahko dosežemo na mnogo načinov. Izbral sem iskanje optimalne rešitve s pomočjo algoritma 'TabuSearch'. Na ta način sem se približeval optimalni rešitvi in se s posebnimi pogoji in poenostavitvami izognil dolgotrajnosti in zamudnosti iskanja optimuma.

Title:Simulation and optimization of production on automated line in a food company
Abstract:
Production means the transformation of inputs into outputs for selling and has always been an important part of business in the society. It is important to select the appropriate type of production because different types of production guarantee that the connection between business plans and business function is as high as possible. Efficency of each production can be increased with simulations on built model. With these experimentations on model we can figure out the behaviour of production with different inputs and so the best combination of inputs can be selected to meat the specific job objectives. Long term or short term planning of production line brings smaller costs, higher productivity and other benefits. I realized the importance of production and its optimization so I decided to optimize the specific production. For building the model of the production line I used the MATLAB computing environment with Simulink block diagram environment and SimEvents discrete-event simulation engine. Optimal plan can be reached in many possible ways. For searching the optimal result I have chosen to use the ‘TabuSearch’ alghoritm. Whit this kind of searching I have been approaching to the optimum where with some limitations and simplifications I avoided the long and time consuming searching for the optimum result.
