Abstract
Model opisuje obnašanje asinhronskega stroja s stališča zmogljivosti premagovanja zahtevanih bremen in toplotne slike stroja. Rezultat je orodje, ki uporabniku nudi oceno potreb posameznega vozila, preizkus zmogljivosti pogonskega sistema in potrebne zaloge energije.

Title:Simulation of vehicle driving cycles using induction machine model
Abstract:
Percentage of electric vehicles sold is growing on a yearly basis. Based on some estimates it reaches over 100% annually. Those vehicles differ based on needs of their users. The difference comes in different range, performance, luxury etc. The topic of diploma was chosen in order to make a tool to help determine required capacity of battery pack and nominal power of machine installed into a vehicle. Using Simulink and Amesim software package a simulation environment for testing of induction machine driven vehicle was build. The built model describes the performance and thermal picture of induction machine during specified drive cycle. Result is a tool that enables obtaining preliminary values that help decide the needed parameters of induction machine and energy storage system.
