Abstract
Diplomska naloga obravnava lutke in njihovo uporabo nekoč in danes; kako se je gledališče oblikovalo in kakšno vlogo ima lutka v vzgojno-izobraževalnem delu v vrtcu. Naloga predstavi, kako lutke vplivajo na razvoj otroka in kako otroci ustvarjajo lutkovno predstavo. V teoretičnem delu sem se dotaknila kratke zgodovine lutk, njenih začetkov in pomembnejših dogodkov, ki so lutkovno gledališče v zgodovini spreminjali in preoblikovali v obliko, ki ga ima danes. Opisujem tudi vlogo, ki jo ima lutka v vrtcu, kako jo lahko uporabljamo in kako vpliva na igro otrok in njihov razvoj. V empiričnem delu predstavljam svoje delo z lutko v vrtcu in odzive otrok na moja povabila za pripravo lutkovne predstave. Za otroke sem postopoma pripravljala dejavnosti, ki so jim pomagale do priprave svojih lutk, in ne nazadnje tudi lutkovne predstave, ki so jih zaigrali za ostale otroke iz vrtca. Ugotovila sem, da lahko otroci samostojno pripravijo lutkovno predstavo, ki je produkt otroške ustvarjalnosti in domišljije, če jim le ponudimo nekaj uporabnega materiala, jih dobro motiviramo in spodbudimo.

Title:
Through child's eyes: from puppet to the puppet show
Abstract:
My diploma thesis is based on puppets and its use in the past and today, how the theatre was created and what you can do with puppets in the kindergarten, how puppets impact child development and how children create a puppet show. In the theoretical part I touched on the short history of puppets, its origins and important events that changed puppet theatre and transformed it into a form that it is today. I am writing about the role of puppets in kindergarten, how it can be used and how it affects children’s play and development. In the empirical part I am presenting my work with puppets in the kindergarten and how children responded to my invitation to prepare a puppet show. I gradually prepared activities for children to help them make puppets and last but not least a puppet show, which they staged for other children from the kindergarten. I found out that if we offer children some useful material and if we motivate them suitably, they are able to produce their own puppet show, which is the product of children's creativity and imagination.
