Adaptations are most needed if we want to be successful in inclusion of children with disabilities in motor skills in regular school programs. Among these are also architectonic barriers.
The work studies the adaptation level of primary and secondary schools in Obalno-kraška region. There are eighteen elementary and six secondary schools in this study. The focus is on architectonic barriers at the access to the sport facilities and the adaptation of the gym. Furthermore, I study the accommodation of the sanitary facilities and the access to the school building, the changing rooms and outdoor sport facilities.
The results show the adaptation is often more frequent at the access to the gym. The changing rooms are less often adapted for physically disabled students.
