Uporaba slovarja pri pouku je pomembna, ker spodbuja razvijanje poimenovalne zmožnosti, poleg tega zgodnja uporaba slovarja močno vpliva na uporabo tega priročnika kasneje v posameznikovem življenju. Kritično ovrednotenje štirih slovenskih otroških šolskih slovarjev potrjuje, da potrebujemo sodoben e-slovar za učence, stare 6–10 let.

Abstract

Using a dictionary in class is important because it stimulates the development of lexical competence. In addition, dictionary use in the early years has a major effect on dictionary use later in life. Critical evaluation of the four Slovene primary school dictionaries confirms the need for a modern e-dictionary for learners aged 6–10 years.
