Diski na stranicah mnogokotnikov

Med najbolj eminentnimi družinami ravninskih likov so mnogokotniki. Pri mnogokotnikih nas zanimajo relacije med stranicami in koti. Ena izmed zanimivih lastnosti mnogokotnikov, katero sem predstavila v magistrski nalogi, je oddaljenost med stranicami. Posvetila sem se eni izmed možnosti za merjenje oddaljenosti, in sicer prekrivanju diskov, postavljenih na stranice tako, da je vsaka stranica eden od premerov kroga na njej.

• Title: Disks on the sides of polygons

Abstract

Among the most prominent families of planar shapes are polygons. In the polygons we are interested in relationships between the sides and angles. One of the interesting properties of polygons, which I present in the thesis, is the distance between the sides. I devoted my attention to one of the possibilities for the measurement of the distance through the overlapping discs arranged on the sides so that each side is one of the diameters of the disc on it.
