Poučevanje z lutko v prvem in drugem vzgojno-izobraževalnem obdobju osnovne šole

Abstract
V svojem magistrskem delu sem želela raziskovati, ali je lutka res idealen pomočnik v razredu, kot sem med študijem slišala od profesorjev na fakulteti. Nisem raziskovala le načina uporabe lutk v razredu, pač pa tudi vpliv, kakršnega ima lutka na učence, predvsem na njihovo motivacijo in znanje. V teoretičnem delu predstavljam gledališče v poučevanju kot način učenja skozi umetnost. Pišem o lutki pri pouku, o pozitivnih učinkih njenega vključevanja, ter vrstah lutk in načinih njihovega vključevanja v pouk. Predstavljam različne metode dela z lutko in tudi delo z lutko pri različnih učnih oblikah. Teoretični del magistrskega dela zaključujem z nekaj predlogi, kako lutko vključiti k različnim šolskim predmetom. V empiričnem delu predstavim raziskavo, ki sem jo izvedla v drugem in četrtem razredu. V enem oddelku drugega razreda sem z lutko poučevala angleščino, v drugem pa sem ta predmet poučevala brez lutke. V enem izmed četrtih razredov sem z lutko poučevala naravoslovje in slovenski jezik, v drugem pa sem ta dva predmeta poučevala brez lutke. Zanimali so me odziv učencev na lutko, načini dela z njo, znanje učencev in tudi trajnost znanja.

Title:Teaching with puppet in the first and second period of primary school
Abstract:
In the master’s thesis, I wanted to research whether the puppet is really an ideal assistant for primary teachers in class as I was told during my studies. I did not just search for ways of using puppets in class but also for influence a puppet has on pupils, especially on their motivation and knowledge. The theoretical part describes the theatre in education as the way of learning through art. I write about a puppet in class, its positive influence, different kinds of puppets and ways of using them in school lessons. I present various methods of using a puppet and how to use it in different learning forms as well. The theoretical part ends with some suggestions on how to integrate a puppet into particular school subjects. The empirical part presents my research implemented in second and fourth grade of the primary school. I was teaching English with a puppet in one section of the second grade and without it in another. Similarly, I was teaching Slovene and Science with a puppet in one section of the fourth grade and without it in another. I was interested in the pupils’ response to the puppet, the ways of using it, the pupils’ knowledge and its durability.
